solid lid, battle damaged possible bullet hit or shrapnel to the front warping the shape, remains of snow camo and original paint was found in Poland with lots of other helmets with snow camo
was recovered from eastern front has been cleaned and preserved will not benefit from any more cleaning
no manufactory marks remaining, perfect for display
*original paint not for restoring
*wouldn’t benefit from cleaning, even acid no point leave it be
